Reclaiming the Future

In the last days of March, leading researchers of the global problems of modern civilization will gather in Tokyo for the annual Asian forum “Reclaiming the Future”. This is the tenth, jubilee meeting organized by the Imperial University of Osaka and the center for the development of international academic programs IAFOR is supported by the UN. The three-day event traditionally includes presentations by representatives of various universities, countries and continents with one common theme - the search for ways out of the crisis humanity has found itself in the 21st century.

The official website of ACAH2019 says:

We live in a period characterised by rises in regionalism, nationalism and authoritarianism; a time of great global uncertainty and anxiety, as well as inequality and iniquity which both reflects and drives political divide, and undermines international systems of cooperation. Clashes of identities, beliefs and ideologies are evident in academia, media and the arts, contributing to a feeling that humanity is spiralling out of control; that our relationships with each other, as well as with the earth and environment, have never been worse.

At the conference, which will take place in the Japanese capital, experts from the Planetary Development Institute (Dubai, UAE) will share innovative ideas and cutting-edge know-how with their colleagues. The delegation is headed by Professor Aleksandr Bezgodov. The presentation of the General Director of the PDI on the essence of the world anti-globalization movement and the possible impact of their activities is included by the organizers in the main program. Aleksandr Bezgodov, who holds a senior doctorate in economics and a Ph.D in political science, will speak before recognized world experts in the field and young aspiring scholars. Participation in the discussions of promising youth is one of the special features of the conference.

By rethinking ourselves, analyzing the past, and stimulating positive changes, we return the future to which we look with hope and optimism.
