Press release: From Sustainable Development to Managed Harmony

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – In his new book, “Planetary Project: From Sustainable Development to Managed Harmony” www.planetaryproject.com (published by Xlibris UK), Aleksandr V. Bezgodov reveals the urgent problems of the modern world including the environmental crisis, the fall of the level of economic development, unfair distribution system of world income, hunger and poverty.

This book describes the essence of the “Planetary Project,” based on the critique of the concept of sustainable development.

A model is proposed for solving global problems through global human unification aimed at saving the planet Earth from future cataclysms and catastrophe for present and future generations. The Planetary Project is in essence a paradigm of the world’s harmonious development. In order to introduce the Planetary project philosophy, the team of Planetary project travelled to Batumi (Georgia) in July end and to Beijing and Shanghai in August end. The East China Normal University in Shanghai provided a great platform for presentation of the project. Before that from 23- 26 August the Planetary project team attended the MARGI-2016 conference. It also held a panel discussion as a part of the conference . The discussion involved nearly all participants from dozens of countries: China, South Africa, the Philippines, Malaysia, Slovenia, Germany, India, Bangladesh, Spain and others.G20 summit which followed had many of the issues raised by Planetary project (www.planetaryproject.com). The speaker and the Executive Director of the project Mr Abhishek Singh (BE/ME/EMBA) had made a presentation and took active part in Q/A sessions in Batumi, Beijing and Shanghai along with Dr A Bezgodov who is the author & founder of the Planetary Project. Dr Barezhev K. was assisting the presentation .

On one of the world's largest international book fairs BIBF 2016 held in Beijing from 24 to 28 August showcased the book written by Dr Bezgodov.

A big book signing event also took place at East China Normal University on 28th August.

“Planetary Project” is for anyone interested in global issues, the current economic and political situation as well as those who are concerned about the fate of the world, the environment, civilization, global society and the future of humanity.

From 14-18 October, the team will be traveling to India for the BRICS 2016 summit where it has been invited for presentation.

About the Author

Aleksandr V. Bezgodov is a member of the Russian Academy of the Natural Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in political science and a doctorate in economics. Born in Northern Russia in 1960, Dr. Bezgodov worked for companies specialising in innovation and high technology as well as for organizations engaged in developing parliamentary democracy and civil society. He is the author of over 50 scholarly publications proposing new original economic and sociological solutions to business administration. He is the founder and general director of the Planetary Development Institute in Dubai.
