International Information Day

International Information Day was established in 1994 by the International Informatics Academy, which has a consultative status in the UN Economic and Social Councils and by the World Informatics Parliament. The first informatisation forum took place in 1992. Information is arguably the most important value. Everyone knows the phrase, “If you own information you own the world”. We should treat this valuable resource with skill and ethics.
